Here is a summary of the most important things you need to know for the day of our wedding:
When is it?

Doors will open to the venue for guests at 5:00 PM, and you should be seated by 5:30.
Please be mindful that this time is during rush hour in a major metropolitan area and plan accordingly!
Where am I going?
The Barns at Wolf Trap
1635 Trap Rd, Vienna, VA 22182
When using a GPS app or calling an Uber/Lyft, it is important you either use the street address above or search for “The Barns at Wolf Trap”. If you only type in “Wolf Trap” you will probably end up at the Filene Center about a half mile down the road.
If you are driving…
Driving directions will most likely include taking the Dulles Toll Road. Tolls on this road are paid either by E-ZPass or Toll-By-Plate (mailed to you later). If you enable a feature in your GPS app to avoid tolls then be prepared for this to add approximately 10 minutes to your trip.
After exiting the highway on Trap Road your directions will include making a U-Turn. This is normal! You did not do anything wrong.
Parking is free, on-site, and abundant. Parking will be on your left in a large lot in front of the Wolf Trap Education Center.
I said I wanted to take a shuttle from the hotel!

Where do I go once I get there?
Enter through the main lobby doors near the box office. This is adjacent to the drop-off loop/flagpole. There also will be a sign outside with our picture on it – you can’t miss it!
Wait, who’s getting married?
Max Nolin (one L and it’s “in” not “an”) and Will vonVorys-Burke! (Yes… it starts with a lower case letter, no spaces, and only one hyphen)
What’s the plan?
The ceremony will immediately be followed by a cocktail hour then dinner, dancing, and general merriment. You won’t leave hungry or bored.
Our evening at The Barns will wrap up at 10 PM. If you’re still in a party mood feel free to meet at the lobby bar of the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner.
How will I know what I can eat if I have dietary restrictions/allergies?
If you indicated a dietary restriction on your RSVP then you should have received an email on Friday 9/6. If you did not receive this or need it again then please contact us ASAP! Email rsvp@maxandwill.wedding or text 202.670.6890.
What should I wear?
Semi-Formal attire, please!
Will I be okay in high heels?
If you’re comfortable in heels, go for it! You just have to make it from a parking lot into a building – no need to worry about grass/soft ground.
Do I need to dress for rain?
All of the festivities in their entirety will be indoors! If there is rain in the forecast then you just need to be prepared to make it from your vehicle to the front doors.
What’s the bar situation?
Open bar!

Bringing a card? There will be a place for you to leave it as you enter the venue.
Doing neither? That’s okay too! We just can’t wait to party with you.
